Austin, I had a problem.
First things first. I love wallpaper.
Every home i’ve lived in, I either installed wallpaper somewhere or wish I could (darn you textured rental walls!) I grew up going to wallpaper stores with my mom, feeling the textures, arguing over prints, hanging samples in my room, switching out the patterns every few years.
When I moved into my recent home I was determined to cover the walls with all sorts of joyful patterns, but unfortunately Austin makes this nearly impossible.
Every wallpaper store in Austin requires an interior designer to come with you. Not only that, the stores that are available only offer the designs of one person.
As a tactile person, I can’t stand picking out samples over the computer. The process is inconsistent, expensive, time consuming and frankly, overwhelming.
That’s when I had an idea.
I built something I wish I had, a mobile service that gives you the feel of walking into a wallpaper store right from your couch. Not only that, by coordinating measuring, ordering and install services, I can take something unnecessarily complicated and make it, dare I say, easy.
Bringing your vision to life is a true joy, and the opportunity to create lasting beauty is a legacy I’m deeply proud to build.
