Preparing for Installation

Ahead of installation day, we ask that furniture be moved back from the walls as best as possible. From there, we’ll handle the rest. If your walls are already smooth and primed, installation can begin right away. If additional preparation is needed such as skimming textured walls or applying a wallpaper liner Hi-Country Paperworks will manage it directly or bring in a trusted partner to ensure your walls are perfectly ready.

Installation Day

On installation day, the process is efficient and professional. The timeline depends on the scope a feature wall may take only a few hours, while a full room or large-scale project may require additional time. No matter the size, you can expect precision, respect for your space, and a clean finish.

Traditional Wallpaper vs. Peel-and-Stick

Our primary focus is traditional pasted wallpaper, which delivers the best quality, longevity, and finish. All projects using traditional wallpaper will be installed by Hi-Country Paperworks with their lifetime guarantee.

For peel-and-stick wallpaper, the process is different. Peel-and-stick is generally considered a DIY product, and we do not partner with Hi-Country Paperworks for these types of installs. If you prefer to handle it yourself, I can provide guidance to help you avoid common pitfalls. If you’d rather hire someone, I’m happy to help connect you with an installer who does handle peel-and-stick projects.
