EARTHY BEDROOM - STYLING CONCEPT

A bedroom in earthy tones

Deep olive, warm brown, and aged brass create a restful bedroom with texture and character.

Where we started

The client loved this framed landscape and wanted to bring it into their bedroom which became the starting point for the room. Its greens, earthy browns, and warm gold frame inspired a palette that carries through the upholstery, bedding, wood, and lighting.

Texture sets the tone

Warm woven wallpaper adds depth without introducing another strong pattern. Its golden tones balance the dark olive bed and connect with the walnut furniture and brass accents.

Hazelnut bedding and dark chocolate sheets bring warmth to the olive upholstery. A rust lumbar picks up the warmer tones in the rug, while the bedding’s subtle sheen contrasts with the plush bed frame.

Rich, layered color

The olive bed echoes the greens in the landscape, while the rug draws out its earthy browns and warm gold tones. Small touches of rust add warmth, connecting the artwork to the textiles without making everything match.

Textured Warmth

Simple brass sconces bring warmth and focused bedside light. A small bowl and a few books add personality while leaving the nightstands useful and uncluttered.

The finishing details

Why this works

The colors stay close, but the textures vary. Plush upholstery, smooth bedding, woven wallpaper, and walnut give each layer its own presence. The patterned rug connects the rust and brown tones, while the landscape brings the palette back to its starting point.
